Wages are fixed pay­ments depend­ing on the job. The Min­istry of Coop­er­a­tives, Labor and Social Wel­fare or the Min­istry of Labor is respon­si­ble for pol­i­cy-mak­ing on work­ers’ wages cov­ered by the Labor Law.

In gen­er­al and non-spe­cial­ized top­ics, issues relat­ed to ser­vice com­pen­sa­tion, includ­ing basic or basic rights and legal extras, and the like, are referred to as wages or salaries. Amzad is the basis for cal­cu­lat­ing legal extras. In spe­cial­ized top­ics, com­pen­sa­tion for inter­na­tion­al ser­vice is called Basic Salary, and it is usu­al­ly based on a one-year peri­od of cal­cu­la­tion and com­par­i­son. (ABS)

Every year, tri­par­tite nego­ti­a­tions take place in the Min­istry of Labor regard­ing the deter­mi­na­tion of work­ers’ wages. The result of the wage nego­ti­a­tions is the deter­mi­na­tion of the min­i­mum wage and the annu­al increase in oth­er wage levels.

Job clas­si­fi­ca­tion sys­tems are respon­si­ble for the method of deter­min­ing wages.
