Hey Group

The Hay Group method was founded by Edward Ned Hee in 1943 and has been continuously developed and improved since then.

Hey Group is a method that is widely used all over the world. More than half of the companies on the Fortune 500 list use it in more than 90 countries. Another advantage of this method is that it has been used by both public and private organizations and has been used to evaluate millions of jobs at various levels and industries around the world.

Structure of Hay Group method and classification of jobs based on it
The Hay Group method is designed based on a valid, simple and logical model of components of different levels of work. It measures each job from three main perspectives (knowledge of how to do the job, problem solving and response rate). For this reason, it can be very useful for organizations where the knowledge of employees and the extent and manner of their decision-making is effective in the success of the organization. This method of evaluation is sensitive to measuring job differences. Thus, the weight of jobs is reflected in the organizational hierarchy as a result of evaluation. At the same time, by preparing the final matrix in the last stage, it is possible to compare dissimilar jobs.

The method of analysis and evaluation has been the most widely used in the world with its distribution in different countries. This method was first implemented in the 1350s in the country’s oil industry, which was one of the leading industries at that time, and with the help of foreign experts. Another advantage over the job ranking method is that it also determines the degree of differences between jobs.

Advantages of job classification and evaluation by Hay Group method:
This method has enough flexibility to face business challenges. It is also ready to adapt to change and allows the organization’s leading managers to define and evaluate jobs according to the needs of the industry.

Ryan Strategy human resource consulting and training experts have mastered the H‑Group model over the years of training, implementation and consulting and provide this technical knowledge to companies.

Incentive Compensation Options

Recent human resources compensation surveys indicate that most companies use some sort of incentive plan to motivate employees. The most popular reward programs include bonus systems, profit-sharing and merit pay.
