Chapter Three of the Labor law

Chapter Three of the Labor law includes 5 topics. This chapter first deals with the employees compensation. Concepts such as hourly wages, fixed wages, and base wages in companies that have a job classification plan and other companies are explained there.
The responsibilities of the Supreme Labor Council and method of determining the annual minimum wage and the times when deductions from a worker’s wage are allowed, along with the relevant mission and mission allowance and the mandatory conditions for carrying out the job classification plan of companies are other contents of this chapter of the Labor Code.
Working hours and duration, hard and harmful work, shift work, and night work, along with legal allowances related to types of shifts, and overtime conditions are also defined in the second topic of chapter three of the Labor Law.
The third topic of chapter three refers to holidays and leave, and the method of payment for work on holidays and the conditions for transferring leave credits to next year are mentioned in this chapter of the labor law.
The fourth topic is dedicated to the working conditions of women and pregnancy and maternity leave.
The fifth topic of Chapter 3 of the Labor Law is dedicated to the working conditions of adolescents and legal prohibitions.
